I've been noticing that whenever I'm in the third rear gear, I get an annoying sort of popping/slipping sensation while pedaling, regardless of which front gear I'm in. And of course that's my favorite gear!
Google research wasn't very helpful. This was the closest thing I but I can't duplicate the skipping by pedaling backward. It only seems to happen when I'm on the bike. And it seems like it's starting to spread to fourth gear, too.
